It all started when our founder Cheryl turned to cycling and wellness to save herself from depression.

Our Story

Cheryl grew up lost with no hope, no direction, no purpose and constantly lived in a state of anxiety and depression.

Feelings of hopelessness, low self-esteem and self-worth drove her to the point of suicide. After her best kept secret - 2 failed suicide attempts - she knew if she was going to live a healthy, happy and fulfilling life, she had to take matters into her own hands and gain control of herself, and her future.

Having spent many years keeping her mental health challenges, suicidal thoughts and attempts to herself due to the fear of hurting others as well as the stigma around mental health, eventually she knew she had to speak out.

To follow were many years of trial and error, traveling, soul searching and self-discovery, all whilst in pursuit of her best self.

Today, MindsideOut. aims to encourage others to talk about their mental health, participate in breaking the stigma and give you hope for better days.

Our mission is to empower you on your own journey to wellness. A journey to better physical and mental health whilst in pursuit of your best self.

We believe everyone deserves to live a happy, fulfilling, inspiring and impactful life.

We believe in freedom, happiness and purpose.

We are for those who overcome.

BORN TO OVERCOME. BE AN OVERCOMER

One thing is rarely the answer, it’s all part of an equation.

As a company, we believe in something we have called ‘The NERS Method’.

We believe there are four key elements which lay the foundations for good mental health:

NOURISHMENT, EXERCISE, ROUTINE and SLEEP.

To flourish, we must nourish the most important parts of our whole being.

We must nourish our mind, body and soul.

Exercise is not only good for your body, it is proven to improve our mood and our attitude, it’s a natural anxiety & stress reliever and is vital for our overall wellbeing.

A daily routine provides structure, balance and consistency which is imperative for managing our emotional and mental health.

Getting enough hours of consistent quality sleep is no less important than oxygen, food or water. Sleep is necessary to allow our body and mind to undergo restoration and is essential for maintaining good health.

We want to provide you with the best of the best products, tools and community to support you on your journey.
